Happy Thanksgiving; Online Shopping Tips

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!  I hope everything is having a blessed day.  I want to share a shopping tip right in time for Black Friday for those who shop online.  This is a perfect way to get additional savings.  Go to Ebates.com and sign up for an account, then find the retail store you wish to shop for on Ebates.com (make sure you are signed in) and click on their link which will direct you to the retailer’s website.  Then, start shopping.  What it does is Ebates.com track what you buy and depending on the retailer, you’ll get back a percentage indicated on Ebates.com website.  You can still use all your coupon codes when you shop this way.  This is a second check I’ve gotten from Ebates.com. Yay!securedownloadthanksgiving outfitHere is outfit of the day for Thanksgiving.  I found this dress for $10 on Black Friday a few years ago at Charlotte Russe.  I love this dress but I usually only wear it during the fall/winter time because of the thicker material.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Chicwish Floral

I thought I could save this post for warmer weather, but I couldn’t wait any longer to post this dress I got on Chicwish.com, it is too beautiful to be hidden until next spring.  The weather this week started to feel cooler, but literally a week ago I would still able to wear this out.  I love the floral print on this dress, it is super feminine, unique and fun.  The only down side is that I had to get this dress altered because it was a bit big on me.

Sweet Pink Dress, Blue Ceramic Print Blazer

I have been in a pink mood lately, maybe because summer is long gone and that makes me want to wear lighter colors even more (I do love spring/summer colors best though).  I toned down the spring/summer look a bit by wearing cooler-toned blazer.  I got this blazer during H&M sale couple months ago (markdown to $15 from $49.95) and I finally got a chance to wear it.  I had to get it tailored to slim down the sleeves, but it was totally worth it.  This blazer is made of thicker material so it is perfect for the cooler weather.

Random Fun Things Here and There

Hello!!!  It’s has been while since I posted, so before I continue onto my next main post, I want to quickly post some little fun stuff.  Chloe

I am a Chloe perfume fan, so when I saw this new Roses De Chloe at Nordstrom, I couldn’t help to try it on.  Immediately, I fell in love.  This is the perfect combination of the Chloe perfume with sweet roses.  I find that sometimes rose-scented fragrance can smell artificial, but this has a true natural rose scent combined with the elegant, flirty scent of the Chloe perfume.  This is a Nordstrom Exclusive (at least in the US), so I think I might stock up on this.

Herve I was recently in Vegas for a bachelorette trip and of course you got to do some shopping in this shopping readily-accessible city.  We decided to walk in the Herve Leger store in the Venetian/Palazzo hotel (Grand Canal Shoppes).  Before this trip, I had never tried on a Herve Leger dress before, so when the sales associate offered a dressing room, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try on one of most infamous celebrity-worthy dresses.  I gravitated toward the sale section because it was 60% off the retail price.  According to the sales associate, there is always a well-stocked sales rack in the Vegas location.  I believe this dress was from the spring/summer collection, priced at $1,350 and went down to $540.  Even though it is a huge discount, I have to pass it up because I am not ready to take that kind of plunge (on a dress)…but someday maybe.  However, the quality of this dress is impeccable and luxurious, it hugs you in all the right places, without compromising your curves.  Maybe I’ll dream about having this in a solid color one day.  VegasHere is one of the pictures when we were out in Vegas at Surrender, celebrating the bride-to-be’s last single night.

Left to Right:  Magenta dress – Bebe (on sale), shoes – Chinese Laundry / White dress – Bebe, shoes – Alfani / Pink dress – Windsor (this was a two layered peplum dress, but I cut off the lower layer for more of a “Vegas” look because the second layer was covering too much of my hip), shoes – Christian Louboutin, So Kate.

Here are some macarons I got while I was in Vegas at the Bouchon Bakery in the Venetian Hotel.  These are a bit bigger than the standard macarons (vanila, cameral, and chocolate) and it is oh so delicious.

I want to apologize to those who have already seen these on my instagram, but I feel like I get to talk about it more in detail by posting them on my blog.

Hope you like it.

Mint Purple Floral Dress

It is now Fall but the weather still permits summery outfits as this was taken couple weeks ago.  I’m so glad I was able to wear this dress because I found it at Macy’s on the sales rack toward the end of summer.  I bought this dress on sale for about $23, then I went back in a few days and saw that it was additionally markdown to $11.  The associate was kind enough to give me a price adjustment…score!!!

Fabulous Fashion Finds

Here is a quick post on my recent fashion finds (under $20).  I went to Forever21 last Friday and they were having an addition 50% on their markdown items.  I found these blue shorts, regular price $14.99, markdown to $8.99, plus additional 50% off, final price $4.49 (size XS).  Next, I love the green romper/jumpsuit with blue thread and blue buttons detail, the final price was $8.49 (size S).  I’m so happy that for some odd reasons, they always have my size during these sales.

The last item I got was the leopard top, it has black trimmings around the collar and sleeves.  Even this was not on sale, I still thought it was a reasonable price for the perfect leopard print and quality.  Usually, Forever21 shirts can be a little too big on me, but this short sleeves shirt fits me perfectly in the shoulders.  This top is $17.80 (size S).

If you are going to Forever21, I hope you’ll find some fabulous markdown items.

Orange Flower Garden

Hello everyone, it has been some time since my last post.  Things have been extremely busy for the past months but I’m glad it is now slowly tapering off, and I finally get a chance to blog.  The reason I titled this post “Orange Flower Garden,” is because it reminds me of just that.  Here is an outfit that was taken couple weeks ago:

The back of this top is extremely long, so I decided to only tuck in the front for a fitted look, and let the back of the shirt flowing out.

(Neon Orange Floral Shirt – Closet / Green Pleated Shorts – Forever21 (it came with a black belt) / White and Gold Belt – Forever21/ Rhinestone Tan Wedges – Q Boutique or similar style BACIO at Aldo / Bracelet – Francesca’s  / Necklace – Forever21 / Bag – Louis Vuitton Tivoli PM / Sunglasses – Rayban)
